Higginshaw Road "Bridge", since filled in in the late 1980's. The building merchants yard now sits over the cutting that went under Higginshaw Lane. The lane to the left was the access route to
Royton Junction.

The second bridge on the Royton branch was for farm access across the line. The bridge is situated after the gas works. The farm used to be on the right until the late 1980's and Salmon Fields on
